Honestly, did I just watch a comedy show? Gandhara isn't Indian, it is partly Greek, but wholly Pakistani. Since when has history been uprooted from the land, and it's people? The history of Gandhara is the history of Indus region, and the people of Pakistan. Can Indians stop claiming Pakistani history, it's a hate filled attitude.

@@helveticaneptune537 REGION, not a country. It is still part of the Region, nothing has changed. But the reality on the ground has, history belongs to the land, and it's people. It's the same people, just the political name has changed. Pakistan covers the Indus region, so it's Pakistani history. India covers the rest of South Asia, it only became a country in 1947. Historical India as a REGION, is different from the present day country of India. Political terms as they exist now are used to describe history all over the world, it needs to, and has to happen in South Asia as well. It's factually incorrect to continue using the name India, if it must be used then clarity is important, because facts matter. Best alternative is to say South Asia, South Asia is the legally correct term for that region, and the only term recognise by the United Nations.

Didn't Hinduism of same area culture before Greeks and Buddhism have human imagery of gods. IMHO it's just Greek converts using their need for an image of Buddha but locals rejected normal Hindu use of images, like protestantism rejecting icons of Jesus

I’m sorry to say this, but the constant lip smacking and tongue sticking makes this unbearable to listen to no matter how interesting or rare the information is. Be conscious of this if you are lecturing. I would fail if she was my professor. Also, I feel like it should be well within her pay grade, with her credentials, to know the Sogdians were a mixed race people and culture of Scythian (Aryans ), Medians, exiled Jews, Danaans (Aka Dians aka Danites Aka Achaeans, Aka Yavanas aka Greeks). Please disregard people’s sensitivities and stick to evidence and facts if available.

Very educative. I do research on how Buddhism disappeared in Bihar. I realized it never disappeared from Bihar. Buddhists simply failed to research Indian Buddhism. They looked at Buddhism through the sphere of their own cultures searching for only the Buddha. Buddha had a myriad of names in different villages according to his teachings there. Example. His favorite teaching was 'Lust and desire causes pain. Remove lust and desire, and pain is removed'. Translated into Bihari (where the Buddha story took place) it is DHUKH HARAN meaning to remove dukha. Three dozen villages pray to DUKH HARAN Baba. Its clear that DUKH HARAN Baba is none other than the Buddha. Problem is Buddhists are searching only for the Buddha. In the real Vaishali the Buddha begged for alms. The locals there pray to 'BHIKHAINI' Baba (Beggar Baba). Bhikhaini was mispronounced by Buddhists as Bhikshu. Who is BHIKHAINI Baba. The Buddha no doubt. But people are searching for a man called Buddha. In the real Vaishali, in Beluha the Buddha suffered a sickness and felt he had grown old. The locals pray to 'BURHA' Baba (Old Baba). Who is BURHA Baba. The Buddha no doubt. In the real Vaishali the Lichavies pressurized Buddha not to die. They trailed him to Bandagawan pressurizing him not to die. To put pressure in Hindi is DABESHWAR. Three dozen villages around the stupa where Buddha gave the Lichavies his patra, the villagers pray to Baba 'DABESHWAR NATH' meaning the man who won the pressurizing game. It was the the Buddha no doubt as he gave the Lichavies his patra and succeded in sending them back. But Buddhists are searching for the Buddha. Forgive me for commenting out of the topic. I just wanted to impart this information to you.

I don’t know who this is for but you can be sure that God wants to see you in his care. You’re loved. When you go to Him, understand that he wants to see your heart be reconciled to him. Walk with him everyday. Trust Him. A human doctor cares for their patients. They administer a prescription and do a follow up. They seek to make the patient well. Christ has the same mindset. He’s the Great Physician. He wants to hear from you. He’s not angry about the mistakes. He knows your every weakness. He’s not angry at all. He’s not going to strike you with lightening. He just wants to see you walk in victory and overcome the darkness. The Lord is the doctor. He fixes broken hearts and binds up physical and spiritual wounds. Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus died for you, rose from the grave after 3 days and he will save you and give you a new life. His peace passes all understanding. Luke 5:30-32 30 But the Pharisees and their teachers of religious law complained bitterly to Jesus’ disciples, “Why do you eat and drink with such scum?” 31 Jesus answered them, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor-sick people do. 32 I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent.” Amen 🙏🏾 He keeps his promises. 🎉

John 14:6, Jesus proclaimed, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” In other words, there are no options on the route to eternal life-there is only one way, and Jesus is that way.

We need to asses the real life situation at a point in history. First is the PRESENCE OF MIND and APPLICATION OF MIND who is exercising authority they hold. First the inputs going to the THOUGHT PROCESS of the individual who is exercising authority . Now Cyrus the great why did he want Jews to go back to Jerusalem. He knew the geographical mooring of the Jews. Knowledge of a historical perspective and the pressing issues at that particular time and taking decisions appropriate to a great of a discernible mind is what makes Cyrus the great a GREAT ROLE MODEL for the world to emulate.
